Caravan Services

All caravan services, repairs and checks are documented and a copy supplied to the customer.

Caravan service prices vary, depending on class of service required, and, whether vehicle being serviced is a trailer, single axle, twin axle or habitation area of a motorhome.

What's covered in a caravan service?

This list is subject to change and may vary depending on your outfit.

Full Service - single axle £145 / twin axle £165

Approx time 3-4 hours

• Electric systems and products
• 240v or 12v
• Fitted Products in use
• Condition of cables from the mains hook up cable to the 12v electrical systems
• Damp testing & report
• Chassis and running gear
• Water systems and products
• Waste systems
• Battery condition
• Internal and External Lights
• Gas Supply and appliances
• Body work
• Seals, Locks and Hinges
• Windows, Blinds and flyscreens

Short Service - £75

Approx time 1-2 hours

• Visual checks and basic testing of appliances
• Visual checks of gas systems
• Basic damp observations
• Habitation area checks

Motorhome Service - £100

• Habitation area check as per short service
• 12v electrics

Running Gear - single axle £70 / twin axle £90

Approx time 1-2 hours

• Axle, towball and jockey wheel
• 12v Electrics
• Brakes, wheels and tyres

Other Services

• Pre Season checks - £50
• Winter Drain Down - £35
• Damp Testing and report - £35
• Pre purchase / pre sale checks - £25 plus travel in certain situations

For all services, please ensure the cassette toilet is emptied, or an additional charge to empty may be applied.

If a major repair is identified during a service, it may require another appointment to be made to carry out the repair. This will aid to reduce the cost to the customer, as no call out charges will then apply.
